Stats Preview: Illini at Iowa

Iowa is probably the best offensive team in the BIG this year ... that's doubly-true at home!  Their focus on O hurts their D a bit, but they don't beat themselves ... no D's or F's at all

Griffin in particular will be on the hot seat this game.  He has to contribute coming off a 2 game suspension - in a tough arena on Super Bowl Sunday morning to boot.  BIG TEST for him and his temper ... esp if/when we fall behind... Refs and Students will be on him.

We gave Iowa a game till the very end despite Ayo, Kofi, and Giorgi having subpar games.  For the 2nd game in a row, Feliz was a stud.  Our offense looked bad with 5 guys playing on the perimeter at times.  We were primed to lose this game, winning what- 7 straight, in 1st place, on Iowa's floor.  Nothing really lost here- lets get the next one.
