it happens when you have so many holes and roster turnover. This kid is #385 ranked prospect. We get a reload of some visits in August we cannot waste them this fall, get the 2019 kids signed and done on time

I understand why it happened, but I disagree.  Running out of OV should never happen, IMO.  And we only get 8 come August - that's not enough.  I know we're recruiting a lot of local kids - which helps a lot.  But what if we have high roster turnover again next year?

I agree - get the 2019 guys (Whitney, Shannon, Liddell) and we're in great shape.  I think the '19 class is the springboard for this program.  Gotta get those guys and focus on '20.

we get 8 in august and then we accrue from there. I get your point, it was still stupid to use them all, agreed. But going forward won't be an issue unless we are really dumb again. I can't foresee 8 new guys on the roster next year, hopefully 3.

Yep.  Good pick up if/when he gets healthy (torn ACL in March).  5th year grad transfer, 7 foot / 260lb.  11.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 0.6 blocks per game, 56.4 FG%, 78.5 FT% at Kent State in 2017-18.
