Vision without action is a daydream.  Action without vision is a nightmare.

Would have liked to seen Bill Self a little higher up on the list.
The Chief will live forever in the hearts of all Illini fans!

this might move Bill Self up the list...
Makes me wonder if the Cliff Alexander hat trick was more of a "ha, you thought you'd get me without paying..." type of move

there is no way the universities were defrauded. they KNEW what was going on. These statements cant be taken seriously.

"I would think that [Wednesday's verdict] means something good for our sport,'' Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski said after hearing the results. "... [It's] always good if someone does something wrong, they're found out and they're held accountable for it.''

There is nothing good in this for college basketball until the cheaters are punished and punished severely. The cheaters at the universities that were complicit in the scheme. That probably includes K and definitely includes Self.

The University of Kansas issued a statement Wednesday saying it continues to support its coaches and that Self is "committed to maintaining a culture of compliance." However, because there are two additional federal trials yet to take place, "we remain unable to fully comment on the issues before us."

Seriously? Did they not pay attention to the FACT that Self knew what was going on and was complicit in it?

Jayhawks coach Bill Self on Wednesday said De Sousa, a sophomore forward, would be withheld from competing until "we can evaluate and understand the new information" presented during the trial -- "some of which we knew, some of which we didn't" -- during an eligibility review.

If they knew ANY of it and they still offered a scholarship without reporting it to the NCAA they were CHEATING.

this was the criminal trial.  the NCAA hasn't commented about this trial.  If they don't go after KU, NCState and Louisville, AT THE MINIMUM, it might as well admit that the NCAA doesn't even care if the coaches and/or universities know about or allow somebody to pay recruits to be on their teams.
