  • Me and "The Girls Next Door" Sorry boys!
Well, the Cubs gave up the piece that they could have sent to the Spankees yesterday for a "left handed specialist".  Give me a F'ing break!!

The Spankees have nothing at 1B.  Nothing.  And we traded a young bull for a "one batter" reliever??

Joe Nathan better bust the doors wide open like he has in the past, or else, WTF Theo??

For Sale, just for instance, the Cubs would have to give Almora, Baez, Scwarber, Soler and Torres. Minimum. I think they should fire Ventura, make no moves, and see what they have with a real manager.

Rangers don't have the goods to get Sale.  It was reported the Astros inquired about Sale and they said Correa would have to be included.  Rangers don't have anyone of that caliber.

You have an excellent staff and really good arms in the minors. Pitching is the hardest and most expensive thing to acquire in MLB. Trade Robertson, if you must, and Frazier can bring prospects. What they really need to do is fire Ventura, and then see what they have with a real manager. And get Kenny out too. Their business model is confusing, and makes assigning responsibility difficult. You can make trades in December too.

One more thing on Sale.  If the Sox decide to move him, they will get the biggest return ever seen in MLB.  He is one of the best pitchers in baseball, left handed, young and under control for the next 3.5 years for dirt cheap compared to the market.  If he stays healthy, he will be in Cooperstown.

As TB said, pitching is at a premium.  Right now Rich Hill is one of the best available via trade.  If you want Sale, be ready to give up the farm (plus ML talent).
