We should be looking for a stretch 4 or a 4/3 type of player who can shoot and guard the 3 pt line as well as board.

Apparently,  Higgs epilepsy has gotten to the point where he could convulse at any time, even with his meds. Perhaps a new med regimen could save his basketball career, but to date none has been acquired. Can't take the chance of a concussion or head fall.

I feel for the young man.  Basketball is one thing, I just hope it doesn't have a major impact on more important aspects of his life, he's got a long road ahead of him.  As the saying goes, when one door closes, another one opens.

We seem to be doing a better job of not losing kids to transfer this year.

Last year by this time, we had announcements that Smith, Finke and Lucas were all transferring.
