CPS Final Four: Orr v. Curie, Simeon v. Morgan Park.  A lot of prospects will be on display.  I look forward to reading any reports by those who are able to attend.

I like the direction we are going. It’s nice to see an actual offense. :)
Go Illini

Nothing in his negatives are things that can't be taught/learned.  As long as he comes in knowing he's got room for improvement, kid can easily become a one and done.  Right now, after watching this, I'd say he's a 2 and done.  Give him some time with Antigua and he's going to be a monster, and he's a beast physically without knowing Fletch yet.

nice! hope Ayo comes back next year
He's good, no doubt, and key to us being good next year.  But Ayo, unless he becomes the clear leader of this team and this team makes a run, will not even be 2nd team B10.  At his slight build, Id be surprised any team will offer him a guaranteed contract.  I believe he will be an NBA'er but needs another year or two.

Most exciting Illini game in years!  The team played tactically, got the ball to Georgi who was on fire.  Individuals sacrificed numbers for the only thing that mattered ... the W

This team is starting to jell after taking some hard knocks in the preseason.  We may actually skip the First Four nonsense at the BIG tourney this March ... that would be HUGE

Giorgi absolutely. He showed again what he can do against a 2nd tier center on a team which wont double the post.  Rutgers made some amazing plays, passes, and shots. Their defensive intensity was fabulous.  This is a good win after a big win against Mich St. I think we are a team who believes we can beat anyone at this point. And if there was an issue between Trent and Ayo earlier, it looks like its been resolved.

Giorgi for COTG. If the guards would have worked the ball inside in the first half instead of trying sink shots outside he could have had even more points. Rutgers underestimated him and never doubled him, trying to stop outside shots and he was open most of the night. His touch was on. Feliz with another good game with both Ayo and Trent in foul trouble and his good FT shooting. Rutgers now with a very young team just like Illinois. They are much improved.
