there were some good things. just more bad things and our defense despite all of the turnovers we force is still a weakness. give up too many easy shots and too many fouls - often really dumb ones. no way to know how it would have gone with Frazier.

If we are within 20 of Gonzaga into the second half I'll be surprised, although I think Klee said a couple of weeks ago that they will be missing one of their bigs.

Ayo was great, William's played well, and we have depth at the 1,2 and 3. We played without Trent, and we'll have DeRosa healthy by the time the B10 season comes around. Giorgi can play. I think we'll be good.

didn't see it, could only listen on the radio. this is what it sounded like -- layup, putback, layup, putback, foul, ft good, ft good, foul, ft good, ft good, foul. none of it in our favor.

where is the elite shooting? we will get killed against anybody with any decent warm body in the paint.

Sucks to lose this early in the season but we gave a good effort. Kipper had a bad last 2 minutes.

Parkey should have been cut after the Miami game. Miller had a big game receiving but he also had 3 bone head plays.

* Batting the ball out on the onside kick. Which led to a successful try on the next play resulting in a Lions TD.
* He pushed a guy after the whistle but was lucky not to get flagged.
* The unsportsmanlike penalty after a 1st down catch.
Cutting kickers for one bad game is how we lost Robbie Gould who is outkicking anyone we have had since.

Before Sunday, Parkey was 13/16 81% and 28/28 xp.  That's not a kicker you drop.  Not in today's NFL.

I agree that the penalty was BS but I'm just not a big fan of show boating after a catch. Just like the Lynch pelvic thrust after the sack.  :nonono:

Samba Kane is a tremendous athlete with size. He's going to be a real player by his junior year.

I think Kofi wouldn’t have anything to worry about with the bigs we have...January or no January
