He has a first week matchup against his Uncle (Totally Random)🙀

I've created a monster!

He got out of bed about 5 times asking me to check on this guy to see if he was drafted or not.

I kept telling him there are only 10 teams, he'll be fine.  Geeeesh!!!  Go to bed kid!😜

His first choice for a team name was "Deez Nutz!"

You can be that if you want.  He's not sheltered that much.

I saw something the other day about being a "pick em " league.

Are we supposed to be picking winners before games begin?

If so, what tab is it hiding under?

I don't see anything.

its just a yahoo thing where you pick the winner of each fantasy match up, not real NFL games

PPR is a WR heavy, TE heavy and RB who catch passes heavy league. Really only Luck and Rodgers are picked in top rounds in those type of leagues

Damn, my son having a hard go of his first time playing FF

Two TE he drafted both out until week 4-5

First pick breaks his foot

Best RB has PCL injury

WR2 pulls a hammy

Geesh!!!!!!

If anyone wants to be pretty liberal with the trades and make him a couple offers for decent bench players to help keep him afloat through week 6-7 that would be really cool.  He's already trying to waiver everyone on his roster😜

He has Julius Thomas and Antonio Gates that will have value later in the season, but his WRs are toast and RB are ok.

Good lesson for him to learn early.  Gambling on sports is a crapshoot. But still very fun... ;)

I won't be putting any claims in on those two. My team survived week one this year. A couple years ago my WR1 and RB 2 both got injured the last pre-season game and gone for the year. 10 team league so there should be some value still out there.

OK, so my money league fell victim to the absolute worst coaching in NFL History. I went into last night up 22. I was up 16 goin g into the 4th quarter, and yes, I was up 5 points with 8 seconds left

My opponent had Jason Witten. I lost by 1.8 on that shit ridiculous ending. lol

Happened to me 2 seasons ago. #2 pick out for season on last pre-season game and number 3 pick out for season in first game. 12 team league and my team never recovered. Not enough good players left.

It's about time the Fantasy Gods shined a little light on my ass.

Was 5-5 going into this game, out scoring QCPost by 200 Pst on the season, and he was 8-2.  Lost last week to Citibass who hasn't even tried and still has IR players in his lineup, by only scoring 70 points after a 180 pt week the week before.

Last night I had a 26 pt cushion with Shady and Gronk to play against me. Shady puts up 21 (13forcast) and Gronk 4 (13).

Squeak out a one point win.

Finally.   This season has really sucked.  Scoring a shit ton of points but taking career days against me almost every week through week 8 and only have a 6-5 record to show for it.
Title: Re: Fantasy football

I won 4 games, out of 5 leagues, yesterday by an average of .8 points

I had either Brady, Gronk or both in all of them. was sweating my ass off haha
Title: Re: Fantasy football
Post by: QCPost33 on November 24, 2015, 01:32:52 PM
I'm 8-3 in both my leagues. I have benefitted from matchups in our league, but in the other league I have outscored the nearest team by 100 points. Injuries are killing both my teams chances in the playoffs. That's how it goes in the fantasy leagues.

Thanks, Just trying to make it to the playoffs. 10-1 in my money league (1 loss came at the hands of Brees and his 7 TD day  :MrFurious:). Keeping my fingers crossed for no injuries and the $$$$ will be mine!

Welp.

Looks like my son, who turned 10 today, gets to celebrate by making it to the "Super Bowl" in his very first FF season.

And...he got a front row seat to see his old man lead the league in scoring again, and flounder out of the playoffs.

Only consolation is that if Megatron can't outs core Brandin Cooks by 14 pts tomorrow night to get me the win, he will get to play against his Uncle in the final game.

Last 4 teams standing.  3 with the last name Musson!!
