I'm sure the NCAA spinmeisters are already preparing their explanations of why punishment of the guilty would be bad for everybody.

I'm intrigued by the LB from VaTech. The next Urlacher is what some are saying. He's only 19, and he's flying up draft boards. I was hoping Robert Quinn would be a salary cap cut by the Rams, and then picked up by the Bears to play opposite Floyd, but the Rams probably have enough  room now after getting Peters from the Chiefs. They can let Trumaine Johnson go, and have an extra 15M for Quinn, Watkins, Donald and their safeties. Great trade.

yes I just don't want Ridley

I think we have enough at QB at this point honestly and are on a 5 star kid and a 4 star kid next year as well, if one of them comes we'd have 5-6 kids which ends up way too many.
That is my feeling as well, Philly. At least one or two of these guys currently signed or on the team are going to end up transferring if they aren't playing so adding more won't help...especially for a year because IMO it wastes a year of Cam's or other guy's playing time and we need to develop the young guys, which ever one or two who end up separating themselves from the pack.  I still believe that Cam is going to have a huge year so to me the Grad Transfer QB is a waste and could cause  frustration from these young and very talented QB's.

so are there so many big name schools implicated does this end up being a situation where these coaches retain their jobs because there won't be as much heat on them locally if they were the only ones.

MSU and Maryland look implicated. That's it for our league, from what I see. Duke and UNC are deep in this. Kentucky and Kansas too. As far as the SEC, Auburn, Bama, LSU, A&M, South Carolina, Kentucky, Tenn, so far. The teams I saw that look bad include ND and Shaka's  Texas. This is the FBI and the Treasury Dept. The NCAA is going to have to address this or be gone. Finally. And Miller is an idiot. Do you think his brother is innocent? And we have an assistant coach who has been around some very funky cheese.
This stuff helps to explain the 'miraculous rise of SEC basketball'  ;)

I want to watch games where TV mentions players majors again when they shoot FTs - even if the declared major is basketball

As I understand it this only describes the dealings with ASM Sports. How bad would it look if all of the cheating with other wheeler dealers in the underground were outed as well? Would anybody be left with a clean slate?
