Why is he still getting playing time?  He is going to get well over  10 minutes today and Shaw can't even sniff any real game time.  Makes me want to  :puke3:

You'd think one of the beat reporters would ask Bruce about the chubby he seems to have for Sam. Not a single one of the beat reporters in the videos of the post-game pressers have had the cajones to ask Bruce the tough questions about some of his boneheaded decision making.

They leave Sam wide open and he can't score. What is he like 2-20 from 3 the last 10 games?  :yuk:

Maybe Bruce was a big Dr. Seuss fan as a child.    :ponder:

He has scored 6 points in 2012 no kidding!
On paper, I can always convince myself that the talent is there to contend among college basketball's elite, even if it's obviously foolish to expect it.

I know, I hear Shaw is a great PG! :ponder:

I wouldn't be playing Sam either, but his playing has nothing to do with shaw's playing time.

But Shaw should be getting time...if we want him to transfer...well, I guess we don't care if he does, as we've done nothing to show any interest in the kid being on the court for us...I think it's a huge mistake and I really hope he'll give our next coach a chance.  I think in other programs...competitive ones, Shaw would be getting clock and subsequently improving.
If he transfers, I bet ya'll money he'll be special wherever he goes.  :confuzed:

I wouldn't be playing Sam either, but his playing has nothing to do with shaw's playing time.

We have 4 guards on the court. Even as a combo guard, Abrams is more of a PG than Sam has ever been. Shaw wouldn't be coming in to play the PG, he'd be playing the 4, which is something this team desperately needs. Don't you think Shaw or Egwu would benefit from a little PT at the 4, especially in these types of blowouts? I mean, what possible harm could come from it? Another loss? Who cares, this team isn't going to make the NCAA Tourney. Sam is done after a few more games.

The most telling stat: Sam plays 22 min, Egwu gets 6 min, and Shaw gets 6 mins, Henry played 9 min. So Sam played more minutes than 3 of our freshman COMBINED. And all three of those guys are better at basketball, irrespective of position, than Sam. Heck, I would rather see more Griffey than more Sam, at least Griffey will be here next year.

and most of those freshman minutes came with 5 minutes left and down by 20. If you are down 22 in the 1st half, why not try something different? Losing by 20 and losing by 35......same difference.
