I am hopeful our guys have found their focus and will show up ... but I'm also fearful. I consider Matta a small man on several levels, and I could see him just pound us into submission if we show any fear, and to make a statement about Guenther choosing Weber over him years ago. Here's the stats:

I think we play much better against them than any of these last 5-6 games. I said it before, and I'll say it again. This group of kids thrive on personal battles and fold easy to team concept games. We suck donkey balls against teams with no size for ML to match up with. We take it personal when we play higher ranked players.

We get into all kinds of trouble when we have to work together instead of just matching up and battling individual battles. That's why we do well against good players who are on good teams and suck against good teams with decent players.

It has been that way all season and I don't see it stopping any time soon.

I think this is going to be a bloodbath, very ugly. 85-48. I think this team is done and this pains me to say this. I wish we would play our asses off and make OSU fight hard but Saturday was very telling

OSU is NOT the same team at home they were earlier in the season. Their offense and shooting has been poor. However, in spite of that I see a blowout here.

I think all the wind is out of the sails. I think we'll see more Mike Henry and hopefully Mike Shaw in what will turn into a "learning experience" for them, and an ass-whooping at the hands of OSU. I predict a 17-23 point loss.

We bottomed out on Saturday which means we will play well tonight. They will keep it close. But IL will end up on the losing end after fighting hard all game - typical of how this season has gone.
