Hey, think of all the money our papers will save by not making an expensive run in the NCAA Tournament. Think of all the anguish you'll save by not having to worry about the 12th-seeded Illini meeting a 5th-seed like Florida. Think of the angst you won't have to feel toward Billy Donovan.
But, dang! Think of how much fun that used to be.

Once again... a team goes zone on Illinois, and we have no answer.  THAT is poor coaching over the long haul.  I've said it before, the article says it now... the man is mystified by the zone defense.  Don't blame it on these players, these guys have not been here since 2006, no one then, in between or now has been able to play the zone, because they have a teacher who has no answers for it.

I just dont understand the logic here. We love Bruce, we want to win for him, its not his fault..then you throw out one of the worst stretches and games in Illini history. Tired of excuses with these guys. Weight of the World. No more than any other team really. JUST TRY
