I just heard Bardo's comments and he just threw BW under the bus.  Normally SB stays neutral but WOW, he laid it all out there.

what did he say?
http://espn.go.com/chicago/ncb/story/_/id/7586669/illinois-coach-bruce-weber-says-resign     There is the link, there is another article where DWill blames the players not Weber.
Edit: the comments are on the waddle and silvy podcast on the right

Thanks for the clarification.
Sorry my bad, I did not clarify the link.  Thanks for noting that for me.

Feels sorry for Sam?  Please Bruce.  I am not going to be as to the point as Player was, I will leave it with this.  I hope MT makes the right decision in April.

Cripes is there really something wrong with Weber saying he hopes one of his guys stops playing like crap.

Sam has been absolutely awful lately, and I've been plenty annoyed at the time he's received.  But I too hope he makes a couple shots down the stretch.  He did help carry the Illini in the preseason.  He has only played one season at Illinois, but it would be nice to see a senior finish his career on a decent note.

Sam should never have played a single game for the Illini. This was a terrible move through and through. In general, MVC players are just not Big Ten quality players. The reason he's not making shots is because he is not very good at basketball. I hope he doesn't make any shots down the stretch because I hope he isn't playing.

That being said, I fully expect Sam to get 17-20 min a game for the rest of the season while Henry, Egwu, and Shaw get practically none. And then Sam will be gone and those other 3 guys will still not have a good feel of being a college basketball player.

Bruce might be backtracking on his statements, but every single one of us knows that what he said after the game on Thursday is 110% true. He has coached like he was trying not to lose and it hasn't been pretty......

That is a HSO there.  I was one who thought Sam would be an asset, for a bit he was. But he was just not fast enough to play at this level for 20-30 minutes a game.  Sometimes a player just loses it and I fear that Sam has.  Its time we put him on the bench and see what we have.  Right now, MH is better than Sam.  I dont feel with what little/nothing Sam is giving us that playing MH is going to hurt.  To me, we should go with Ml, BP, DJ, TG and TA.  With JB, NG, MH and MS off the bench the rest of the way.  I know its risky on such a huge game, but we are on a 4 game losing streak, something needs to change.
