Webers system is good enough for kids who truly want to become 'professional players' -- 2004/05 proved that.
Our kids seem to want to have it 'their way' ... and that's been going on way to long. It started with Pruitt, then went to DMac, now its BP ... all with pro potential, none willing to buy into the system ... all deserve(d) pinetime.
BP is a compulsive gambler ... not a tactician on the court. Meyers has made HUGE strides, but is a 4 playing 5. Both are young mentally by virtue of their mistakes, which they tend to compound emotionally after the fact.
Could we fast break more? Maybe. Could we run the bench deep? In theory, yes. *** But the real issue is we can't pass, our motion is motionless. I find myself screaming at the TV ... we don't execute as a unit, no synergy exists. We have ballers, not students of the game as demanded by Webers system and approach.
