HE WILL NEVER, EVER LIVE THAT ONE DOWN!!!!

Geeze, they were just talking about him on the news, I forgot he actually took Illinois to three bowl games!

He'll be a fine DC. Head coaching just wasn't his thing.

I was in grad school during the Tupper era...........I will never forget the year when the Big Ten office called us two weeks in a row and said, ya umm, we are sorry that we made calls that cost you those games.     One play, the white QB when Johnny Johnson played, was speared in the head on a pass play and the refs ruled fumble and TD for Arizona (desert swarm days).....commissioner of officials said, yep, should have been 15 yard first down and no TD.   Next game, Simeon Rice stripped the ball from Oregon running back on there 6 yard line and walked into endzone.....zebra ruled that his knee was down....LOL they were both straight up and Simeon basically stole the hand off.........we lost both games by less than 6 points.

Don't remember the year but I seem to remember a bogus Michigan fumble call that cost us that game. It was just one of many reasons I could care less about the Big Ten. The number 1 reason. I worked at a brokerage firm in Chicago once and our head cashier doubled as a bookie. His number one client who was not covering his bets was the HEAD football official for the BIG TEN.
