I think 10 minutes into the game MSU had 12 offensive rebounds.  They only finished with 18 total for the game according to the box score.  So Illini shored that up as the game went on.  Also 12 turnovers for the game, not bad considering how poorly the game was played.

and they got 3 of those on that one late hoop

Can't make myself vote for Paul due to missed FT's, bad d down the stretch and a failure to attack Green when coach asked him to.  I felt the same way, but he was the only guy who scored at all tonight...DJ was next with 9 points.
 
That being said.  Take the win and run baby!!!!!!

I do like the fact we won a game we could have folded in again, thats a positive

for sure yeah.... you'd just really hate to drop a game like this, MSU just had nothing going today

I really wish we would get out of this shooting slump...especially at home

Every game is just such a close game. Cant be good for the heart, but at least the team is seeing through adversity. Should help in the future, either later this year or next year. BUT, it would be nice to see us just blow the doors of NU with our next game. Get some PT for Shaw and Griffey.

I'm glad Henry got some important burn. Im also glad Bruce took out Bertrand pretty quickly in the 2nd half for Henry because he wasn't effective at all.

Joe Bert has to get out his funk and get back to giving us at least 10 points a game.

I remember a stat popping up with about 5 minutes remaining that said we were being outrebounded 22 to 9 on the offensive end I thought. It was at least 20+. Not sure where the discrepancy was.
