On another note, I do really like where the recruits Illinois is getting where they are coming from... Ohio, Florida, PA...  good grounds for football players for sure.

 

I think coach and staff have done an outstanding job establishing pipelines/connections to good football programs also.  Glenville, Mt Carmel, St Ignatious, Dunbar, St Thomas, Brother Rice, Bolingbrook etc, that are good high school football programs in those fertile football grounds you mention E.   

Looks like this staff is just laying the blue prints with this class, but with wins next year, the 2013 class will be a much better ranked class IMO.  I also think this class will produce some good legit players.  Powell and Williams will see immediate clock in the DL rotation.

Well, we came close to getting Ivey from East St. Louis and Valentine from Edwardsville, but second place does not count in recruiting   

Would have been two good d additions...

Beckman has a job ahead, but there is still talent!!!!!
