'Football Signing Day Special' Airs Wednesday (BTN)

A new class of future Big Ten football stars will sign National Letters of Intent on Wednesday, and BTN will air a live, 90-minute "Football Signing Day Special" at 4:30 PM ET that day to reveal which student-athletes will attend Big Ten universities.

Just a reminder for everyone:  Our class was ranked dead last this year in the B10 under recruiting guru Ron Zook so its gonna take some time to get the cupboard full. While not bare its pretty darn close

I was looking on the Scout commit list yesterday. A whole bunch of two stars and NR's.

there are a couple kids who are rated as "potential" 4 stars by a few sites, but the rest is 2 and 3. I think that had something to do with the change, recruiting was going down along with record

Projecting these ratings is a crap shoot sometimes.  I have seen many 4 and 5 star recruits not live up to expectation and several 2 and 3 become studs.  I think we have a solid core back so lets see what TB can do with what he already has and what he will bring in.

My wife thought I was a 2-star recruit when we met, but when I lasted 47 seconds instead of 30 seconds, the outlook changed and I was projected as a mid to high 3-star.

Guys, the stars????  Really?  For the majority of kids I don't think it matters about their star rating, they develop differently and at different stages.  Throw in good instruction, coaching and play calling, and you have potential winners.

A change in coaching causes this?  How many years does it take to recover?
I can see it now, cellar dwellers in both FB & BB, after we, the fans, run the coaches out of town. But, hey you gotta go down, then by golly you can show everybody how much improvement you made.
