As IMan and Easy discussed in another thread - booing a team may lead to bigger issues, like players who aren't ready to handle that pressure.  That may be why some players aren't seeing a lot, if any, floor time - the staff is protecting those who aren't ready for that yet.

IMO, booing is never acceptable - that's what message boards are for  :icon_biggrin:
Agreed 100%, Crusader!  Well said!  I had a friend that used to take me to Bears game (when I was married to the ex).  Anyway, there were rules, one of them was you never boo the Bears OR the other team and you never b**** about the weather.  I have taken that rule to heart when it comes to Illinois games as well.

Booing is never acceptable...so if Bobby Knight is the announcer at one of our games, goes to halfcourt and moons the crowd, that wouldn't be acceptable. ?   :icon_biggrin:  lol

I wouldn't say booing is NEVER acceptable, but it's never acceptable because of how the team is playing. If a player does something REALLY stupid like a flagrant foul that is solely for the purpose of hurting another player, for example. Boo his ASS.

Another example where it might be acceptable is disrespecting the coach. DMAC did it blatantly one time by giving old man Weber a hard shoulder while going to the bench. Boo his ASS!

The libertarian in me says, let 'em boo.   Why should we be regulating who, when, where, and why fans can boo?

Never - not even then!  Just throw a chair at his old wrinkly ass ;)
What about Coach K, Bill Self and Calipari come to the Assembly Hall to recruit and all three go to half court and moon the crowd after getting commitments from Okafor, Parker and Schilling?  Would it be acceptable to boo then?
