As much as I hated our play, what a bogus call on JB that was a pivotal call in this game when we could have blown it wide open.

Every time somebody uses initials I have to mentally run through the roster to figure out who he is talking about. Finally I came up with Bertrand. Now I am trying to figure out the call. One bad call late in the game was the foul on that steal by Paul. No contact means no foul.

regarding the last play, to show that I'm not completely anti-Weber  :icon_biggrin: it could have been that the play he called during the timeout broke down and Sami decided to improvise and take it to the hole for some reason on his own.

Yeah Sam had a clear lane.  I said above it should have been Bert there though.  At least he has the floater to finish.

The technical in the 1st half.

That loss is on Weber period.  At one point with over 13 minutes to go we were 3-16 from three point land.  If we feed Leonard in the post, we win this game going away.  Weber is the worst I have seen at calling plays coming out of a time out.  Why did Henry (who Weber has said is the purest shooter on the team) not see any more clock?  SM saw too much clock as did TA.  They had no timeouts left and we let them throw the ball into the backcourt uncontested..wtf? and then an easy floater in the lane.  I don't want to hear any shit about Leonard not working hard enough to get post position either.  If we penetrate the lane against the zone, he doesn't have to work to get open.  This team is the worst I have ever seen at passing the ball period, not to mention inside. If a player does not have the passing ability to hit a 7'1" guy without throwing it over his head 3 feet, he shouldn't be on the court.. :MrFurious:

That was a big call no doubt.  Really changed Mo.

But they have to just man up and not worry about it.  No way around that.

No I was pissed about the pivotal call when we were up 8 or nine and then a foul on PSu go t turned into a flagrant on Bertrand that turned into 5 quick points and momentum.  This always kills our team when this goes the other way.  They are not mentally tough enough to overcome it.

Oh boy, here we go again with another 12 page burn on BW and the poor last play. Who did you think was going to get the last shot?  BP was being riden like a cheap whore, JBert had been ice cold all night, making one shot. ML was on the bench. DJ brought the defender that blocked the lay up right to the rim( WTF was that?).  There was no one else to take it, and if DJ would have got the memo to clear out, like everyone else was doing, Sam lays that one in for the tie.

Unfortunately, feeding the post is a nation wide epidemic. Its a lost art, and so few players do it well. Not an excuse, but just a reality.

Sure that could be coaching, but you also need smart players. Knowing angles and depth on the pass are things that you just know.

I don't care if it's a road game. The 1st place team just lost to the 12th place team.

That is Illinois.
