according to the article it is due to the spread offense. I vaguely remember someone mention the possibility of moving him to to linebacker. May have been just idle speculation - or all in my imagination.

Maybe he really wants to be a full back, but I would think he could move to another position like line backer and do well....the kid is a bruiser.

Good luck to him whatever he decides is best for him.

The article also said his mother, who lives in the south, is battling brain cancer.  That is certainly a good reason to want to be closer to home.

Yes that is what is being reported as the main reason by most, as you said that completely makes this not only understandable but well wishes to him and her going forward
