The Bears announced a 4 p.m. press conference and in it they said team president Ted Phillips fired Angelo, eliminating speculation whether or not he retired.

something good did come about this season

maybe we can now find a guy that knows how to draft and build a team correctly, instead of rolling the dice and looking for diamonds in the rough all the time
