I highly doubt we win 3 of those 6.
Unless this team has a 'coming to Jesus' moment, it's not in the cards.  This team could have been up big on PU as they did nothing in the first half, but we lollygagged around...so when PU makes a 33 to 6 run, which is entirely unacceptable, we should have had a decent lead going into that.
Who knows?  Gotta hope these guys get it together and BW can see how inept his offense is.  Either need to tweak the offense or change up the personnel some...and I just don't see him doing either.

So were we. And Nebraska gave Mich St a decent game for 25-30 minutes.

I watched about 5 minutes of it during the football half time. We have to find someone else to man the post. We have one trick to get it inside, and ML still isn't sealing anyone off. If we can't get another big to even give a hint of a threat to take possession of the block, we might as well just play chuck a three, because we probably would be better at that!

Musson, you are right. Bardo even commented Leonard has no clue how to play the post only make open dunks or layups. We can debate whose fault that is, but even the commentators notice it

Peeked at it while totally immersed in the fball game. Glad I stayed with football. The next few games are going to be brutal. Another bubble season I guess.

Have to say it, some of you already have.:  :puke: is better than us now.

God that was frustraing.  One of the worst sports watching experiences I've had in a long time.  I don't get why our "4 star guards" cant handle any ball pressure.  Just makes no sense to me.  Purdue isn't that athletic or long so how did that cause so much trouble?

On another note, I wouldn't be surprised if Meyers transfers.  I don't think he's ready for the NBA (although teams would take him on potential most likely) and he can't like our gameplan or Bruce.  Someone I know talks to him a couple times a week and said he's not happy.  Hasn't mentioned transferring but he did say he expects him to explore some options.

I'll take the blame for this loss though.  When it was 21-13 I turned to my dad and brother and said and I quote "This will probably jinx them, but the Illini are actually fun to watch right now..."  That started the 27-8 run or whatever it ended up being.

Its very hard to have a positive out look.sure they are 12-3 but how many games did they look like they really knew what was going on...I tell you something is wrong...either the players wont do what Weber says or aren't repaired for what they are gonna see....Every team is going to double team Meyers...unless Ohio st plays him straight up-they know the ILLINI dont know how to play when he gets doubled or they cant get him the ball...then he looses focus and picks up silly fouls......

Our guards not being able to stay in front of guys is gonna really hurt in the long run....
