We just aren't very good.

Beat ~9th place Minny at home in 2 OT, get blown out at ~7th best Purdue. We are the 8th place team in this league, still gonna win 8 games and be on the bubble as expected. Next year is going to be rough, because we have no PG and ML is good as gone just watching him play......

Anyway guys I really have just about had enough 50 point games on offense. Happy New Year Everyone, maybe we'll get better in 2012

Our offense is so hard to watch.  And the players can't enjoy it much.  Agree with Phil, we were lucky minny blew the game at our place..and they're not that good.
Purdue isn't very good either...but we aren't near as good as them, so what's that say about us?  We will most likely not go .500.  I just don't think we will be able to, even though we have as much talent as about anyone.
That's what stinks about today...so many people on here have been saying how PU wasn't very good and not near the recruiting classes we have...and that's right, on paper we should be much better, but we're not even close. 
One thing is for sure, we need to learn to make some ingame adjustments...we did a very poor job of that today.

I didn't expect to be switching to the football game, but when I see play after play where our guards turnover the ball or take a wild shot, I can't watch any more. The only real question is whether Weber will face the same fate as Zook.

Minny wore them out Wed, and clearly they had no practice since then... Seems like to me that from as soon as ML got out of it in the first we was like a dead fish. I don't think we are quite a bubble team but I don't see us making any big runs in the tourneys, notice I said tourneys.... cuz either we'll get in easily to the NCAA's or the NIT...

 Makes you wonder if Painter was the ones who masterminded all the success at SIU instead of Weber, won't join the fire bruce weber camp that some fans on twitter are doing.. at least yet but I want to see some improvement of SOME sort from last year, and frankly I just haven't seen that this year, only caveat would be us not losing those non-conference games that we SHOULD win, and coming back to win them, but either way not a big improvement at all.. starting 1-1 in B1G play is a good start, but 2-0 would have been that much sweeter to end 2011 with

I think we dont have a PG now...Sam cant stay in front of anyone....and he does a lot of what Dmac did but he is slower shorter and cant score like Dmac could....Meyers will stay another year==The team needs to work on passing and dribbling  drills all during practice...I think the game plan going into this game was off from the start..

I just wonder how long it will take them to figure out  how to pass-dribble-and cut to the basket......Now if they work on these things in practice...they should sit the starting 5 and play the other bench players....they either dribble until the shot clock runs low or pick up their dribble to quick....something has to change...you cant keep this offense like this the entire year....

They never should have started Bertrand....he was playing great off bench --the team needs those points off the bench...I think Paul should play point and either start Henry at 3 or Tracy....Griffey is just lost...he hits 1 shot and then turns the ball over like 3 times..if you want Egwu to get better he has to play more--he makes mistakes but he hustles his ass off...Sam should be first off the bench
