Mixed emotions here:

I didn't think we'd get blown out, but was worried down 11 early

we played really dumb ball the last two minute when we had a two point lead. How do we give up an easy layup with 10 seconds left down 3? correction...Brandon Paul played terrible, dumbass ball the last two minutes...he drives me freaking crazy.

Anyway the effort was there, Bertrand, rest of bench is non existent, Griffey was awful.

I feel much better about getting 9-10 B10 wins after this game.The QUESTION IS will we play with this effort or the effort we showed in the previous 4 games?

OH and I hate Bob Knight but kudos to him for pointing out 57 times we are dumb for having Leonard 20 feet from the hoop

The problem is Bertrand took advantage of an up and down game that we will not play in again this year based on what I see in the league.

He was not playing in the motion offense, he was taking over the game when the situation called for it, lets see what happens when we go back to motion 53-51 type games before we get ahead of ourselves

last 2  minutes were beyond disappointing....we hung in there though, so that's encouraging...unfortunately the good we got from the young guys, were also trade offs for the bad we got

but hopefully they are learning, thats what this years about!

we play Minnesota, who is pretty much our equal to slightly less of a team than us next tuesday

I am so looking forward to see which illini team shows up. Then at Purdue and at Northwestern.

I have to award a COG and it goes to Joseph Bertrand!  Welcome Joe we have been waiting for that.  19 pts what a coming out party!  I didn't get my winning oop but we played well in the comeback.  Too many turnovers at the turning point in the game when we had a few leads with 6 mins and less to go.  Paul needs to take the bone out of his head.
