http://espn.go.com/chicago/nba/story/_/id/7350863/chicago-bulls-derrick-rose-feel-comfortable-recruiting-players

Not sure if that article has been posted but its pretty disappointing.  Rose says he can't recruit because he doesn't know how to tell players they should come to Chicago...pretty pathetic excuse.

But why should he have to recruit though? that's the Job of the GM!  and this is the Pros not college..whats wrong with Chicago that does not recruit itself anyway....I dont think the reigning MVP should have to get down on his knees for anybody..and if more players thought the way Rose did, we wouldn't have the "Super Team" mess we have developing now
By no means do I think he should bend over backwards for anyone, but if he can't make a phone call to Dwight and say a simple "hey dwight, lets ball together for a while. youd resign here, right?" then his social skills are a detriment to the team. Hell do it in a text, thats how my generation deals with semi awkward social situations anyway.

I dunno, I think this topic is getting blown out of proportion by the media.....and in the grand scheme of things I think even if he did, it would have very little impact on Howard's decision ...nor would it have had any impact last summer, the 3 Miami idiots all knew where they were going long before that FA debacle took place
