NEITHER....looks like it's RIP...as in 'Rest in Peace' for this team  :nonono:

guy couldn't even start for the pistons last year, and they sucked, hes had nothing but injury problems the last few seasons too....what a joke..... super teams are forming as we speak, and the Bulls are signing washed up 2 guards in the twilight of their career...

well I'm just excited about the season, how about you guys!  cant wait to get to the eastern finals, or 2nd round even(depending on other Super Teams forming in the east, Nets, Knicks?) only to lose again....Jerry always said that if he had a team that needed one piece to put them over the top he would go over the luxury tax, well that doesn't seem to be the case now does it, seems like they are almost counting pennys right to where the luxury starts so they stop right there.

Quote
Hamilton's midlevel exception over the next two seasons would limit the Bulls' exposure to luxury-tax levels, particularly when Derrick Rose's maximum contract extension begins in 2012-13.

Yeah it looks like Rip.  Have not seen him play much lately, but he is getting up there in years, was part of a group undermining his coach.

On the plus side:
He is proven winner
Can be a go to scorer
Long enough to play D on the bigger two guards and still be offensive (last year we went offense with Korver or even Watson, but they were liabilities on D, or we went defensive with Bogans and Brewer).
Has the rep for being able to run all day and wear people down.
Plays off of the ball.  Does not have to have it in his hands to be effective.
Runs off screens in a disciplined offense.  Thibs is really a good patterned guy.

On the minus side:
Not quick, nor strong
Aging
Midrange game.  Does not stretch floor for D Rose.
Tried to undermine his coach last year.

As far as the super teams go.  If D Howard does not include you in the sweepstakes what do you do, and do we have enough to pry him from Orlando?  Paul is not a fit, nor is Deron.  What two guard is there on the block demanding his way out of town?
