There is no guarantee that ML is gone if he has a great year. Sullinger and Barnes would have been the top two players taken and they stayed. Plus, the way the NBA will deal with the draft is likely to change.

I think the lockout played a big factor for those two guys.  The quality of their college teams didn't hurt either...

I'm hoping he sticks around for at least his junior year, I think if he continues to progress this year, he could be an absolute monster next year....

and one can dream, should he stay for his Senior year, and we happen to land Parker  :gulp:

I think he stays one more year.

4 guys in double figures led by 21 from Leonard and 19 by DJ. Paul and Sam had 13 and 10.  Those guys played well.

Griffey had 8 but missed 3 good looks on 3's.  Im really looking forward to where his game takes off to when he starts
dropping them as we know he can.  But his defense against Harris wasnt up to where it needs to be, yet Harris is a
tough matchup for anyone.  I see a quantum leap in Grifs game soon, as he learns from this one.

Bert struggled again but Crandall played better.  And Egwu is impressing me.  We have a strong bench- quite a
testament to the freshman.  If Abrams was 6'6, hed be the best rebounder in cbb.

We beat a good team Saturday.

Just getting around to this post.  The Illini looked GREAT on Saturday.  Think they have a great chance to knock off UNLV.  Take care of the Bonnies tomorrow first.  Love the fight and the finish this team has. Sam is a player and Meyers can be an All-American if they get him the touches.  Keep up the great play boys!
