Gonzaga post/Chief of the game thread!!

Huge win over a ranked team at home!!!! I loved how we kept answering their runs with a spurt of our own. Mr Steady DJ gets my COG. When DJ is on we are hard to beat.


The Good
* DJ with big game
* Head and Henry with some quality minutes at the end of the half to keep us in it.
* ML, Griff and Sam with nice games. Same with some big steals.
* Sam has been our finisher. At the end of the game, Sam on the Iso has been our best play.
* Used 12 players today!

The Bad
* Interior D needs work
* ML NEEDS MORE TOUCHES IN THE POST
* Had some pressure handling press all game
* Bad defense at the end of the game

With that being said .............LET IT RIP!!!!!!!!!!

Great win.  I want to see that Sam where he finishes either with a bucket, foul shots or dish for the easy flush (ML).  That will make this team that much better because
 
1) it gets the other guys going
2) helps the kids develop
3) spreads out the load so that you can win with many options in case one is cold.
 
Love it.  Only got home in time to see the last 5 minutes, but this team is so much more fun to watch than last year.
 
ML keeps growing from this performance and he becomes a Lotto pick.
 
Let me know how the bench players played.  I missed it.

awesome game!!...everybody scored today except for Bert.....wasn't sure if this was going to be our first loss going into it..I thought our bigs would have problems with Sacre and Harris....but they held their own, and gradually wore Sacre down...cant say enough of the effort in the second half!...Leonard with a huge game, overcame early foul trouble and dominated toward the end.. 21 points and 6 rebounds..my COG

this team is a total 180 from last year and the last few years 

another thing impressive...only 12 TO's today despite having some trouble with the press D...not too bad

WOW...watched the game and still didn't realize the stats he was piling up  ...Sam, by far the best college 'free agent' pick up the year so far
