just not liking what im hearing...Bulls seem like they are going to settle for average crap, when they have the ability, thanks to the new CBA, to go out and spend on a guy that could put this team over the top

is JR really gonna play cheep skate and short change this team when they are literally just a good SG away from winning a title!??

Problem is there is no guy to just go out and sign to make this team considerably better.

Afflalo would be great but he's a RFA.  Denver really likes him and can match any offer, plus they have guys like JR Smith and Wilson Chandler off playing in China right now.  It's going to take a pretty hefty offer to get Afflalo here.  And I'm not sure it's prudent to through bags of cash at him, just to get a guy.

Its sad to say the The  Bulls have for the most part been very cheap ................I think they still have to pay Rose...i believe his contract is up this year..but they didn't think when they spent money on Boozer....the same questions and concerns they have about C Butler they had about Boozer and still gave him 65 or 75 million....and they have to also think about Gibson's contract is coming up soon --he is young and he is going to want to get paid...so looking at trading him while he still has value is food for thought

The guys that went to China do not have an out clause in the contracts.  They may be back by March or April.  It depends on how far their Chinese teams advance.

That's not true...Caron hasn't played in 70 games in a season since 05-06.  Carlos only had 1 season in the 4 prior to the Bulls signing him where he played less than 70.  It is true that both do not play defense though...at all.

I went with Richardson.

has 3 ball range, athletic to get to the rim.  Big to guard the big 2 guards and experienced.

An FA who would like to win a title too.

Read about the potential Rip potential this morning.  Obviously it's an upgrade over Bogans, but it still stinks.  This pretty much has Luxury Tax avoidance written all over it.
