If you're throwing trades in there I would like to see Andre Iguodala brought in.  Solid player that can create his own shot.  Which is something the Bulls need to take pressure off of Rose.

And there's rumors he available.  He took on less of a role last year with Collins as coach.  His scoring was down but assists were up.  And I'm sure the 76'ers are looking to offload his salary.

OJ Mayo would be a close 2nd depending on what it would take to get him.

I suppose he's a 2/3 tweener type.  He's 6-6 so he fits more into the 2 guard mold IMO.  I don't see why you couldn't play the 2 together.  AI is another slasher type that can create his own shot.  Bulls need somebody else besides Rose that can create.

He did that last year and his scoring dropped below his career average, but he did up his assists to 6.5 a game.

I say we go after Afflalo...if he really is available, probably wont cost that mush to get him...hes young, shoots well, and can defend big time, thats what we need from the 2G sport really

The Chicago Tribune reports Thursday morning that Caron Butler is working out in Chicago and that a source close to him indicated he hopes to sign there. The Bulls need a scoring shooting guard, which Butler can play in combination with the small forward spot, but Butler has both age, injury, and efficiency issues. His prime is past and he tends to overestimate his offensive ability at this point. Then again, the alternative is Keith Bogans. Additionally, Butler is still an excellent defender with length and know-how, and would fit well with the Thibodeau's scheme.

He can play the 2...he does just about everything the 2 position player is supposed to do but guard the 2 on D...i just dont think it will happen....the 76'ers will want to much.........I say we spend the money and go get Tyson Chandler back and a cheaper 2 guard..Bring Boozer off the bench and give Gibson some back up minutes at the 3 ...Play Tyson at the 5 and Noah at the 4....Trade 1 or 2 of the 3....... 2 guards we have

http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/basketball/bulls/ct-spt-1203-bulls-chicago--20111203,0,660922.story

just not liking what im hearing...Bulls seem like they are going to settle for average crap, when they have the ability, thanks to the new CBA, to go out and spend on a guy that could put this team over the top

is JR really gonna play cheep skate and short change this team when they are literally just a good SG away from winning a title!??
