Speculation is that it's between the Cubs and Seattle for Fielder. Most also think that the Cubs will not go 10 years. 7 at most with a possible opt out clause. That would be ideal.

I think they might pull it off...would fill a need lefty, clean up hitter, you take away from a division rival and add to your own...come on rickets has the money..and Fielder is younger then Pujols
