We need to develop a killer instinct. With a 18 point half time lead we shouldn't have to scratch and claw out a win. COG goes to ML, he was a man amongst boys tonight. Blocks, points, FT's and rebounds, you name it he did it.

* DJ got us going in the 1st half but faded in the 2nd.
* BP needs to wake up. He was invisible AGAIN except for the AIRBALL ft! I also hate how BP and Abrams cried everytime they were called for a foul.
* Sam had a good game but made 3 freshman like mistakes. Intentional foul to start spider come back, dead ball push off foul and fouling on a 3 pt attempt. He has to be smarter than that.
* Griff had a solid game and Bertrand was solid off of the bench.
* Saw some zone and full court pressure today  :gulp:
* The team as a whole shot well from the line

With that being said ...... LET IT RIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well I couldn't see the game, but as I watch freshmen all over my TV contribute in these games I notice we pretty much had none from ours. Thank God we added Sam or this team would be hosed.

I voted Meyers, gonna be a shame when he goes pro after this year, Paul better wake up soon

Agree on Paul he has not been very effective so far.  Would be nice to see a bit more from Griffey as well.  Although Griff played ok tonight.

And I did not expect Sam to contribute this much on the season.  Figured he would be a role player at most.  Right now Abrams looks a bit out of control.

I think Abrams will be fine as an effort guy, but the only "difference maker" we have is Leonard right now, and we are going to need more to win 20 games. But all in all its a win against a quality team from a quality league, lets beat ISU tomorrow and move on.

Leonard was really good. He had that 5 minute stretch at the end of the 1st half where he was phenomenal.

Paul was a non factor. Not sure whats going on there. Only took 2 shots.  :ponder:

No Koolaid for me. I saw a team that had no end of trouble on the defensive end. Their guards were in the lane the entire second half. Better teams (e.g. Michigan, Missouri) will KILL us.

Stupid turnovers in the early minutes. Honestly, I wonder what the guys are looking at when they make some of those passes.

WAAAAAAYYYYYYY too many fouls. Intentional foul and push off by Maniscalco were just plain idiotic. Abrams did almost nothing but commit fouls.

WAAAAYYYyy too many guys wide open for threes.

We struggled to get a decent shot, particularly in the second half. They had more blocks than we did. Our passes and moves are very predictable and we spend a lot of time passing the ball around the perimeter.

We are weak with the ball inside. Meyers brings the ball down to waist level too often. He will lose it to better teams. Egwu was not strong with the ball.

Where is Brandon Paul?  Nearly airballs a FT. That won't get it done.

Traveling on a wide open breakaway in crunch time.

Lane violation on the FT in crunch time.

This team does not play smart, does not play good defense and is still offensively challenged. I watch other games and IMO we are LIGHT YEARS behind the better teams.

No doubt obmtl that is why I am most disappointed about the play of the young guys, none appear to be difference makers we needed at this point. I hope they get better

If this whole team doesn't improve by orders of magnitude, this will be a very long year. Don't want it to be that way, but that is how I see it right now.
