Guys we are probably going to be favored in every non-conference game (at Maryland maybe is even) so no matter how we do it, we need wins and minutes for the young guys. The only way we are going to be good in March is to get the growing pains out now.

I agree. Let's work the bugs out in the pre-conference schedule and keep improving as the year goes on. Now is the part of the schedule to get things worked out and figure out all the rotations.

Tough to work out rotations when guys are missing or not 100% for various reasons - injury, suspensions, foul problems. I'm not sure how much we have really learned about this group yet.

I don't know how much we learn in cake games either. Maybe it is just me, but I see a lot of teams blowing out their weak opponents in the first half and coasting with lineup changes in the second. We seem to struggle in the first half and need a second half run to win by 15-20. Part of it may be growing pains, but I do not like the pattern so far.
