A less than stellar 1st half with alot of turn overs but ............. a win is a win. My COTG goes to DJ. He played solid defense and was money from the field. These kids play hard but they need to figure out the motion offense. With that being said ............................

DJ looked like the team leader. He shot it pretty good, his D was good and he looked the most comfortable in the motion. Still got a pass as he headed down the lane and the ball got tipped away. He has the smarts and experience for the PG, but the ball handling is unfortunately not there.
. Too bad, we would be a much better team if he could run the show effectively.
Yep the motion looked bad last night and when ML was not in post entry passes were either bad or nonexistent. The motion created few open looks last night. Passes into traffic, Shaw passed a terrible cross court pass easily intercepted.
ML is becoming a game changer, but can he stay in the game?
