I dont mind this much at all.  What's the worse that could happen?  He could suck and throw temper tantrums?

Make the POS WORK for his job, and maybe he wakes up.

And then, never pull him from a game unless the bases are empty, that way he can't call everyone else out when they gas can willy all his runners in.

Agreed what is the downside?  The team is not going to compete in 2012... are you going to ruin a 75 win team?
 
So let him pitch and earn his check, or build up his value so you get more than S & H green stamps for him.  If he melts down he completely destroys whatever value some think he has.

this is true.......i'm just tired of seeing the antics, and us making headlines on ESPN and other outlets for his lunatic meltdowns
