Bears Beat Eagles
« on: November 08, 2011, 08:46:28 AM »
Thought the Bears played great last night.  Contained Vick and didn't let him beat them with his feet.  The D was flying all over the field.  O-Line did a great job protecting Jay, 0 sacks allowed.  Jay played really well and kept a lot of plays alive.  You can tell he is happy to have Bennett back.  Another NFC win, which will be huge when the playoff tiebreakers come around.  If the season ended today the Bears would be the 6 seed.  This win sets up a huge game next Sunday against the Lions.  Bear Down!

Jay actually looked like he was having fun out there especially in the series in which it looked like street ball with him throwing every which way.

getting blocking, and receivers catching the ball can have that effect I guess  :icon_biggrin:

Bears match up real well with Philly and Detroit

time to make hay here, some winnable games coming with KC, Oakland, Minnesota, Denver and Detroit I can now see 10 wins fairly easily if not 11

My fantasy team would like to say thanks to the Bears defense for keeping Vick in check!   :icon_biggrin:

I was SHOCKED my team pulled out a win with Vick playing on Monday night.

Great game. Should have been a much bigger win if not for Forte giving them 14 points.  I kept asking myself if it was that the DL for Philly was just that bad, or was the OL actually sacking up?

The way Gruden was gushing over the OL made me throw up in my mouth a little, but props, they turned in one good game.

The real question I derived from this game was whether or not "the dream team" will even make the playoffs.  Lions and Eagles are both entirely predicated on big plays, which in my opinion, the Bears are decent at preventing.  Also, how bad were Nnamdi and Cullen Jenkins last night.  Didn't hear Jenkins name called once, and heard Nnamdi's number called by the refs way too often...nice investments by the Eagles.

I hate to say it, but the Bears are looking good right now.  5-3 with tie-breakers over Atlanta, Tampa, and Philadelphia.  If they can beat Detroit at home next weekend, they'll be a real contender (to lose to Green Bay in the playoffs).
