Red Sox need to  stop with the nonsense  :veryannoyed:

http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/7130700/bud-selig-hints-mediating-theo-epstein-comp-talks

Quote
The sources told ESPNChicago.com Thursday that talks were at the "5-yard-line," but if they can't be pushed over the goal line, baseball commissioner Bud Selig told Sirius XM that he may have to step in to help mediate the impasse.

Bosox are just bitter. Take your two prospects and shut the hell up.You're saving money by letting Theo walk and promoting his assistant. Plus, it's not a lateral move. Epstien will president of the team and will have a GM under him. Maybe the team needs to focus on chicken and beer instead of an employee moving on?

couldn't agree more... this is just beyond silly now...and obviously MLB and the commissioners office is thinking the same...Sox owner needs to wake the hell up

Cubs should just bring him in next year for free, after they have cleared out a lot of the bad contracts they have this year...not much Epstein can do this coming year anyway.. it would serve the Sox owner right for playing these games, to have to pay Epstein this year to go on vacation! LOL!

jackass!

Red sox can't bring him back now. Cubs should just keep their prospects and let theo run the team from house for a year.

Heard Jack McKeon on the radio yesterday saying that Josh Beckett did the same thing in Florida. They had to eventually lock the clubhouse door to keep him in the dugout during games. Seems like he is being a bad influence on the Red Sox younger players.
