Hossa is so damn good. Hes the best player on the ice on most nights. Please stay healthy!  :beg:

I think actually having an off season for the first time in 3 years will translate into a very good year for him  :icon_biggrin:

One-timers: Goaltender Alexander Salak was reassigned to Rockford of the American Hockey League. ? No. 1 goalie Corey Crawford practiced for the second consecutive day and said, "I feel 100 percent ? I'm ready to go" after recovering from a lower-body injury. ? Forwards Viktor Stalberg (knee) and Ben Smith (concussion) both practiced and could return Saturday night against the Bruins.

I think I might have been a little harsh on Emery last night. I still think all three goals he let in were pretty soft but the first two were scored when the other five guys on the ice were skating with their heads up their asses. Third goal was unforgivably bad, but he turned around and made some very key saves in the third to preserve the win.

I wouldn't call it a great performance, but probably not bad enough to drop him to #3 either. Although I'm still unsure as to why we signed him in the first place, because I do think Salak is good enough to be Crawford's #2.
