Just gonna post this.  What a turnaround to finish the season and then win the B1G Tourney!

We went and saw them play about the 10th game of the season down here (Florida) against Stetson, who is a good team.  Frankly, they looked lie crap.  Justin Parr, who was the All Tourney DH, was playing 2B, and was HORRIBLE.  Argo hit a bomb, and everyone else looked like they were playing with old school vibrating Little League bats, the way they were dinking the ball around.

I left that Loss without any expectations, but was very pleased to watch the game last night, and see a completely different team.

Way to go guys!!!!!

Illini open NCAA tournament regional play tonight at 10 p.m. on ESPNU.  Let's hope they can keep the momentum going against powerhouse Cal State-Fullerton.

Man, what a shitty draw that is. And 11pm EST really sucks. I sure hope the pitching staff is up for the challenge. Sometimes that is all it takes. I'll DVR it and take a look tomorrow.

Well, we played them pretty tough for 7 innings, and like the Cubs, folded up like a cheap lawn chair for the 7th and 8th.

We were up 2, then tied, then down 2, then tied, then down 2 and threatening.

Then botom of the 7th, down 5, then down 6.

Fulerton has a much better team top to bottom, with a TON of YOUNG talent.  It was nice to see us give them a little scare though, and see that this team is able to close the gap, unlike in years past.

Elimination game today, hope for better results to live and play another day.

Playing KSU right now on ESPNU.  Down 1-0 in the top of the third, due to a KSU straight away center field bomb :Wallbash:

How does the baseball tournament work?  They lost game one - what if they win this game?
