Bulls vs Heat Playoff series thread.

3rd quarter was awesome.  We are simply too big and active for the Heat inside.  Love it.

Spolestra decision to keep Z and Dampier inactive hurt the Heat.  They tried to go small with Lebron at the 4 but the Bulls matched it perfectly.

Bulls will have to keep that energy going.  They have shown a tendency so far in the playoffs to lose their edge.

That and Lebron is going to get going eventually.

Taj Gibson...what else can you say   :shocked3:

Taj has elevated his game to a whole different level the last few games of these playoffs...those 2 jams today were just un-real!  I had to watch the last one over about 10 times on my DVR  :icon_biggrin:

Yep.  And the block of LeBron.  king James is not used to having someone big enough, quick enough and strong enough so that after he throws about three moves at him he does not expect his shot to get rejected.

Taj did it though.   :cheering: :cheering: :cheering: :cheering: :cheering:

Love those Heat rejected looks at the end. The Heat got the big 3, but they took the money needed to build a complete team. Bibby is looking older than Kidd. But I could not believe how good the Bulls defense was. The best free agent in the NBA last year was coach Thibs. You can could see how impressed the TNT crew were. Only 1 game, but the Heat has to figure out how to change the way they play. Special kudos to Taj. He was awesome.

They have shown a tendency so far in the playoffs to lose their edge.

Man you are Mr Debbie Downer when it comes to the Bulls aren't you?  :icon_biggrin:

We beat the Pacers in 5 and we beat the Hawks in 6 and I know all the sports yahoos like to say those series were close, but they really weren't. When it came down to the big games, we put our foot down and kicked the Pacers and Hawks arses, I saw no "losing our edge" in closing out those series.

We f*cking dominated the Heat tonight, no need to tone down the celebration. If we bring the same effort for the rest of the series, well, I think we'll win the series in less than 7 games....

GO BULLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     :cheering:

its really simple...gotta protect home court in this series..Bulls got game 1, now they need to throw that game away and come out Game 2 like its 0-0....can not drop a game at home, if we lose a home game that will give Miami all the confidence they need going back home for game 3 and 4..This series is still far from over, and the best game we get from Miami might just be game 2, if we win that, I think we break them. and might just grab 1 of games 3 and 4 in Miami.

one thing that has to worry Miami, this is now the second game in a row the bulls have completely dominated , they seem to finally be hitting their stride after struggling most of the playoffs, Boozer seem more healthy, the Bench has picked it up.

Hell of a game! Kudos to Thibs, once again, for gameplanning so well. ESpole...you are a moron. Going small and keeping Big Z off the active roster? Played right into the Bulls athleticism and defensive scheme.

Taj......  :nonono: ...just wrong.

Just a great overall game and each game gets more and more important. Need to protect home court Wednesday....the Heat still do have firepower and its a long series. If we continue plaing like this though, no team touches them.
