Crawford gave the Hawks every chance in the world to win the game.  Dude was unreal tonight.

Yeah the major plus to this season, even though it was largely an exercise in frustration, is that we did find ourselves a goalie (even if it took half the season).

I feel like Crawford has to be better and more consistent next year.

That turnover was it.

Corey Crawford was unbelievable. Lock that guy up. He is your goaltender going forward.

Good season. Obviously not what you want, but not every season is going to end in a Stanley Cup. We got a team that is going to be consistently in the hunt, though and that's all you can ask for.

Fix a few holes and we are back next year, better than ever.

with everyone we lost in the offseason and the injuries...losing in 7 games in this fashion to the best team in the NHL isnt the end of the world. A lot of young talent and Crawford  :gulp: ...the job is yours....

2 keys guys for us going forward IMO...loved the play of Kruger and Ben Smith. Kruger especially...for a 20 year old he is a special talent.

Hawks showed the heart of a champion the last week.  Battled and battled to even get to a game 7 and then Toews finally showed up and scored that short handed goal...the bar I was at went crazy.  Crawford was incredible and kept the Hawks in the game.  No shame in losing in 7 games, they easily could have not made the playoffs.  They are only a few moves away from being at an elite level next year.

Proud of the way they fought back...People just need to realize this is a rebuilding year not a continuation of last years championship team, and if you think of it that way, it was not a bad season considering all the injuries and all the new faces.  It was also good for the younger guys to get some of this experience

As far as next years team.... ill move that over to the off season thread
